Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct the election for the AA 220, Kangayam Primary Agricultural Co-operative Credit Society, Kangayam-638 701, Tiruppur District, by providing police protection and under the supervision of the higher officials of the Revenue Department by taking Video Coverage for the dates from the date of nomination to polling date i.e. From 30.4.2018 to 7.5.2018 at the petitioner's costs.

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to conduct the election for the AA 220, Kangayam Primary Agricultural Co-operative Credit Society, Kangayam-638 701, Tiruppur District by providing police protection and under the supervision of the higher officials of the Revenue Department by taking Video Coverage for the dates from the date of nomination till the date of polling i.e. from 30.4.2018 till 7.5.2018 at the petitioner's own costs. 2.
Mr.M.S.Palanisamy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the Election Commission and Mr.L.P.Shanmugasundaram, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Co-operative Societies agreeing with the submission of the learned Counsel for the petitioner submitted that the entire events from the date of filing the nomination till the date of declaration of results will be covered under videography at the cost of the petitioner and if need arises, necessary police protection will be given by the jurisdiction police concerned. 3.
Recording the said submission, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
