Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents more particularly Special Olympics Bharat to consider and pass appropriate order on the representation dated 15.03.2023 made by the petitioner herein in accordance with the directions of this Hon'ble High Court's direction with respect to the selection process for various competitions at State, National and International levels in W.P.No.22565 of 2019 nor is it in 2/6

compliance with the Selection Guidelines for Special Olympics Bharat which is based on the directives issued in consonance with the National Sports Development Code, 2011.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents more particularly Special Olympics Bharat to consider and pass appropriate order on the representation dated 15.03.2023 made by the petitioner in accordance with the directions of this Court's direction with respect to the selection process for various competitions at State, National and International levels in W.P.No.22565 of 2019 nor is it in compliance with the Selection Guidelines for Special Olympics Bharat which is based on the directives issued in consonance with the National Sports Development Code, 2011.

2.The learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made representation dated 15.03.2023 for participating in the training camp conducted by the Special Olympics Bharat, along with necessary certificates, however, the same was not considered and further submitted that the training camp for Special Olympics World Games is going to be conducted in Gujarat on 24.04.2023 and hence this Court may issue direction to the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 15.03.2023.

3.The learned ACGSC appearing for the respondents 7 and 8 takes notice on behalf of the first respondent and submits that the petitioner's representation will be considered in accordance with law and appropriate orders will be passed.

4.It appears that the respondent is going to conduct training camp for Special Olympics World Games in Gujarat on 24.04.2023. Hence, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 15.03.2023 and pass appropriate orders on or before 24.04.2023.

5.The writ petition is accordingly disposed of. No costs.
