ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to call for the records pertaining to the F.I.R. in Crime No.204/2014 dated 11.03.2014 on the file of the first respondent Police and quash the same.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though he had asked for a larger relief of quashing the FIR, it would serve the interest of justice, if a direction is issued to the Police to expeditiously complete the investigation and file a final report before the concerned Court, so that the Damocles sword is not made to hang over the head of the petitioner.

4. Under such circumstances, this Court directs the respondent Police to expeditiously complete the investigation in Crime No.204 of 2014 and file a final report before the concerned Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
