The petitioner has filed this Writ petition seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the 5th & 6th respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 23.09.2021, 16.05.2022, 20.05.2022, 01.07.2022 and 10.03.2023 and dispose of the same.
2. Mr.M.Alagu Goutham, learned Government Advocate takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. Mr.Venkata Seshiya, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the 5th and 6th respondents. In view of the consent expressed by the learned counsel on either side, this petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. The case of the petitioner is that he purchased the vacant land, vide registered Sale deed dated 09.03.1983 bearing Doc.No.80/1983. Pursuant to the said purchase, he constructed a residential house in the said vacant site. Thereafter, he made a representation dated 23.09.2021 before the 6th respondent seeking to effect Electricity Power Supply to his house, which evoked no response. Aggrieved by the inaction on the part of the officials, the petitioner's son made a grievance petition dated 16.05.2022 before the 1st respondent, though the said representation was forwarded to the 5th respondent, however, thereafter, no steps were initiated by the respondents. Further, the petitioner made several representations dated 01.07.2022 and 10.03.2023 before the respondents, however, till date, no orders have been passed on the same. Hence, this Writ petition.

Though very many grounds have been raised, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that, it would suffice, if this Court issues direction to the 5th and 6th respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 23.09.2021, 16.05.2022, 20.05.2022, 01.07.2022 and 10.03.2023 and effect electricity service connection to the petitioner's property as expeditiously as possible.

5. Learned counsel appearing for the respective respondents have no serious objection for the said order being passed.

Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 5th & 6th respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.03.2023 on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and aggrieved persons, if any.
