ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking to call for the records pertaining to D.V.C.No.28 of 2025, pending on the file of Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, at Ponneri, and set aside the same.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as a counterblast to the Divorce case filed by the 1st petitioner against the respondent in HMOP No. 231 of 2024 on the file of the Principal Sub court, Ponneri, the respondent filed DVC proceedings against the petitioners, who are her in-laws. Hence, he prays to set aside proceedings in D.V.C.No.28 of 2025, pending on the file of Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, at Ponneri.

3. Heard the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner.

4. Upon perusal of the records, it is revealed that within four months from the date of marriage, the respondent left the matrimonial home. She now lives with her young child. This Court finds no reason to set aside the DVC proceedings which is pending on the file of the Judicial Magistrate Court No. I, Ponneri. The petitioners are directed to seek their remedy before the Trial Court.

However, both parties are directed to appear before the Mediation and Conciliation Centre, Thiruvallur, on 08.05.2026. Accordingly, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No Costs. Pending petition, if any, is closed. 24-04-2026 pbl Index:Yes/No Speaking/Non-speaking order Internet:Yes To
