Respondents PRAYER Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus or any other appropriate Writ or Direction more particularly in the nature of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to dispose of and consider the the petitioner's representation dated 4.07.2018 by providing alternative employment to the petitioner within a stipulated time to be framed by this Court and to treat the period from 01.09.2017 to till date as duty period since he was made to wait compulsorily for no fault of his and pass orders. O R D E R

The case of the petitioner in this case is that he has made a representation dated 04.07.2018 to the 1st respondent to give him an alternative appointment in view of the certification of the medical board that he is unable to take up the work of the Driver but no action on the same having been taken so far, the petitioner has come forward to file this writ petition challenging such inaction on the part of the respondents and seeking a direction to the respondents to consider his representation.

Considering the limited grievance of the petitioner this Court is of the view that no useful purpose is going to be served by issuing a notice to the respondent https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

inasmuch as no prejudice is going to be caused to the respondents in any manner in granting the relief sought for without their respondent. Hence, this Court dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to take an informed and considered decision on the representation of the petitioner, if the same is pending, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order in accordance with law. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of such representation in any manner. No costs.
