Respondents Prayer: This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking for a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the application of the petitioner under Scheduled Tribe Category for the admission to the 1st year B.E. Degree Course for the academic year 2014-2015 (Application No.248605) and the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course for the academic year 2014-2015 (Application No. 245726) and admit the petitioner by accepting the sworn affidavit of the parents under the quota reserved for scheduled Tribes without insisting upon the production of the community certificate.
