ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a writ of mandamus directing respondents 1 to 3 to take action based on the representation of the petitioner dated 16.02.2017 and 20.03.2016 and to remove the encroachment made by the fourth respondent in Government poramboke land comprised in Survey Nos.107/2, 107/2A and 107/2B situated at Sudhakar Nagar Main Road, Poonthottam Village, Villupuram Town and Taluk.
2. Mr.R.Vijayakumar, learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for respondents 1 to 3.
3. The fourth respondent is a private respondent, who is alleged to have encroached upon the Government poramboke land.
4. The office of the third respondent shall cause an inspection of the land in question i.e., Survey Nos.107/2, 107/2A and 107/2B situated at Sudhakar Nagar Main Road, Poonthottam Village, Villupuram Town and Taluk to be made within a fortnight from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if any encroachment is found, the third respondent shall take action in accordance with law, after giving notice to all concerned, particularly the fourth respondent before us, and conclude the proceedings within a period of two months thereafter.
5. The writ petition, accordingly, stands disposed of. No costs.
