Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the second respondent herein to depute the surveyor concerned to inspect the lands of the petitioner Survey No.58/3, 61/1, 62/1 Melgavarapattu Village, Panruti, Cuddalore District to effect sub division of patta no.302, 303 in the petitioner.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The Petitioner claims to be a senior citizen and would contend that she and her sisters owns Nanja and Punja lands in Survey Nos.58/3, 61/1, 62/1 Melgavarapattu Village, Panruti, Cuddalore District in patta nos.302, 303. The petitioner would further state that the oral partition came into being between the petitioner and her two sisters and therefore on account of the said fact, she prayed for measurement of the land for the purpose of effecting sub-division https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
and issuance of patta since she has not been favoured with any response, came forward to file this writ petition. 3.Heard the submissions of Mr.Sivabharathi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.This Court without going into the merits of the representations made by the petitioner, permits the petitioner to submit a fresh representation along with the copy of this order and earlier representations within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and the second respondent on receipt of the same, shall entertain the application if the papers are otherwise in order and after putting on notice, the persons concerned, pass orders in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks thereafter and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner as well as to the persons concerned. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
