O R D E R

The petitioner who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 341, 294(b), 332, 397 and 506(II) IPC, in Crime No.897 of 2020, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that the petitioner along with other accused had waylaid the de-facto complainant and demanded money by using filthy language and took a sum of Rs.350/-. Hence, the complaint was registered.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is an innocent person and he has been falsely implicated in this case. Therefore, he prays to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner along with other accused had waylaid the de-facto complainant and demanded money by using filthy language and took a sum of Rs.350/-. He would further submit that there are ten previous cases pending as against the petitioner. 5. Considering the above fact and circumstances of the case and also the fact that the petitioner had committed serious offence and there are ten previous cases pending as against the petitioner, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
