PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Rasipuram to expedite the trial in C.C.No.480 of 2014.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed by the accused to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Rasipuram to dispose of the case in C.C.No.480 of 2014 at early.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner is facing trial for the alleged offences under Sections 420, 294(b) & 506(i) IPC before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Rasipuram in C.C.No.480 of 2014. He further submitted that for the past four years, no progress has been made in the aforesaid case and hence, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Rasipuram may be directed to dispose of the aforesaid case at early.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that some reasonable time may be fixed for disposal of the aforesaid case.

4.Considering the aforesaid submissions, the learned Judicial Magistrate, Rasipuram is directed to expedite the trial https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

and dispose of the case in C.C.No.480 of 2018 within four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the aforesaid directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
