ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent to alter the FIR filed in Cr.No.607 of 2015 from u/s 341, 294(b), 324, 506(ii) I.P.C., to U/s. 341, 294(b), 326 and 307 of I.P.C.,

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is seen that this petition has been filed for alteration of the FIR and for a direction to the respondent Police to include certain offences. Unlike civil pleadings, an FIR cannot be amended as prayed for by the petitioner.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was seriously beaten and assaulted and he has also produced photographs in support of his assertion.

5. The petitioner is directed to produce all the materials before the respondent Police and in the course of investigation, if any graver offence surfaces, the respondent Police is directed to submit alteration report before the concerned Magistrate. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
