ORDER

This Contempt petition is filed to punish the respondent for wanton and wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.17464 of 2021 dated 02.01.2024.

2. A memo has been filed by the respondents stating the revised pension arrears payable to the petitioner in the event of his making a part of the contribution of Rs.2,86,038/- would be Rs.3,48,551/-. The total contribution ought to have been made by the petitioner is Rs.6,34,489/-. Even if the above pension arrears of Rs.3,48,551/- (in the event of the mutual contribution) is made, the balance to be recovered from the petitioner towards his pension contribution would be Rs.2,86,038/-. Only after paying the balance sum of Rs.2,86,038/-, the petitioner can expect the respondent to make the enhanced pension arrears in cash without any deduction from 01.11.2025. If the petitioner does not pay the said amount, then status-quo will be maintained.

3. As I find no contempt by way of any violation of the orders passed by this Court, further action is dropped in this petition.
