ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to call for the records pertaining to the Charge Sheet in C.C. No.175 of 2014 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Ambattur and quash the same in so far as the petitioner/3rd accused is concerned.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

3. On a reading of the final report, there are several materials for the prosecution to proceed against the petitioner.

4. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that since the first accused is absconding, the trial in the case is not able to progress.

5. Under such circumstances, the respondent Police is directed to apprehend the first accused expeditiously, so that the trial in this case is not stalled.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to raise all the points https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

before the Trial Court. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
