PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the respondent to release the vehicle bearing Registration No.TN 21 AY 2421 (Model SK 1613/36) Tata Four Wheeler Chassis No.697TC56FSZ129941 seized in Crime No.668 of 2020 on the file of Inspector of Police, Avadi Police Station. O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent to release the vehicle bearing Registration No.TN 21 AY 2421 (Model SK 1613/36) Tata Four Wheeler Chassis No.697TC56FSZ129941 seized in Crime No.668 of 2020 on the file of Inspector of Police, Avadi Police Station.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the vehicle which was involved in Crime No.668 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police have been deposited before the jurisdictional Magistrate Court concerned, but till now no P.R. Number has been assigned.

3. Considering the facts and circumstance of the case and submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

learned Judicial Magistrate No.2, Poonamallee is directed to assign P.R. Number for the vehicle bearing Registration No.TN 21 AY 2421 (Model SK 1613/36) Tata Four Wheeler Chassis No.697TC56FSZ129941 deposited by the respondent police, pursuant to the crime No.668 of 2020 forthwith. Thereafter, the petitioner is directed to approach the Court concerned for return of vehicle. On receipt of the application, the Magistrate Court concerned is directed to entertain the petition for return of vehicle and pass orders on merits in accordance with law.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
