Respondent PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition has been filed under Section 528 of the BNSS, 2023, to modify the condition No.1 imposed in the order dated 02.08.2024 made in Crl.M.P.No.894 of 2024 on the file of the Special Judge for EC/NDPS Act Cases, Salem by permitting the petitioner to execution of Rs.10,000/- bond with two sureties for the like sum before the Special Judge for EC/NDPS Act Cases, Salem.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to modify the first accused imposed in the order dated 02.08.2024 made in Crl.M.P.No.894 of 2024 on the file of the Special Judge for EC/NDPS Act Cases, Salem by permitting the petitioner to execution of Rs.10,000/- bond with two sureties for the like sum before the Special Judge for EC/NDPS Act Cases, Salem.

2. The learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that the petitioner is complying with the conditions regularly.

3. In view of the above, the first condition imposed by the Special Judge for EC/NDPS Act Cases, Salem in Crl.M.P.No.894 of 2024 dated 02.08.2024 is modified to the effect that the petitioner shall execute a bond for a sum of Rs.50,000/- with one surety like sum to the satisfaction of the Special Judge for EC/NDPS Act Cases, Salem; The surety shall

produce a proof of document to meet out the bond amount. The other conditions remains unaltered.
