ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) Seeking a direction to the first respondent to cause the production of the body and person of petitioner's daughter Sree Geetha, daughter of Veeranan, aged 34 years, before this Court and set her at liberty, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed.

2.There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner. 3.The petitioner is the mother of the detenue. Apprehending that she must have been in the custody of the respondents 2 to 4, the present habeas corpus petition has been filed. 4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that there is a dispute between the parties. However, the investigation so far would reveal that detenue is not in the custody of respondents 2 to 4. 5.In view of the above, the Habeas Corpus Petition is closed. However, we direct the first respondent to proceed with the investigation. As and when the detenue is secured, she should be produced before the concerned jurisdictional Magistrate.
