Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to consider the petitioner's request to transfer from Perandapalli to Chulamali in Krishnagiri District, on health condition, by considering his representation dated 3.6.2015 within a reasonable time.

Mrs.M.E.Raniselvam, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents.

2. The petitioner is a Watchman. He has rendered 30 years of service in The Tamil Nadu Minerals Ltd.,. For the past one year, he has been serving at Perandapalli. He has to travel 110 Kms to reach the work spot. Further, he has to walk down for 6 Kms to the work spot after getting down from the bus. According to the petitioner, he underwent two surgeries. In these circumstances, he made a representation dated 3.6.2015 to the respondents to transfer him to Chulamali in Krishnagiri District. It is stated that there are vacancies at the said place.

3. Taking into account the narrow prayer made, the Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 3.6.2015 for https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

transferring him from Perandapalli to Chulamali in Krishnagiri District on health condition, and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ Petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
