Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing 3rd respondent to consider the application dated 30.12.2014 for mutation of revenue records and grant of computerized patta to the petitioner for the land measuring 1069.5 square feet comprised in S.No.128/1 Part Narasingapuram Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing 3rd respondent to consider the application dated 3012.2014 for mutation of revenue records and grant of computerized patta to the petitioner for the land measuring 1069.5 square feet comprised in S.No.128/1 Part Narasingapuram Village, Attur Taluk, Salem District.

2. Mr. M. Devaraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has given his https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

application as early as on 3012.2014, the 3rd respondent has not passed any order sofar.

3. Ms. A. Madhumathi, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that 3rd respondent may be directed to dispose of the petitioner's application dated 3012.2014 in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 30.12.2014 and pass orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently the connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
