PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, praying to direct the Principal Sessions Court, Thiruvannamalai to advance the hearing of the petition for bail in Crl.M.P.No.1729 of 2020 and dispose of the same within the time stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R
This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Principal Sessions Court, Thiruvannamalai to advance the hearing of the petition for bail in Crl.M.P.No.1729 of 2020 and dispose of the same within the time stipulated by this Court.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 22.06.2020, pursuant to the crime No.981 of 2020 on the file of the respondent police registered for the offence punishable under Sections 379, 430 of IPC r/w. Mines and Minerals Act. Thereafter, the learned Judge, adjourned the bail petition for want of instructions to 15.07.2020. Therefore, he sought for direction to the Principal Sessions Court, Thiruvannamalai to https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
advance the hearing of the petition for bail in Crl.M.P.No.1729 of 2020 and dispose of the same within the time stipulated by this Court.

It is seen that the petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 22.06.2020, pursuant to the crime No.981 of 2020 registered for the offence punishable under Sections 379, 430 of IPC r/w. Mines and Minerals Act on the file of the respondent. Now it is posted on 15.07.2020 for want of some instructions. Since, the bail petition was adjourned by the concerned Judge for want of instructions, the said direction cannot be issued to the trial Court to consider the bail petition in advance. Further, the petitioner was arrested and remanded to judicial custody only on 22.06.2020.
4. Therefore, this petition is devoid of merits. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
