The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 420 of Indian Penal Code, 1860, in Crime No.147 of 2024, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. This petition is for the anticipatory bail. The petitioner herein is a first accused. The case against him is cheating the gullible public who are in need of jobs.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police states that nearly about Rs.26,70,000/- has been cheated from six witnesses.

4. Whereas, the learned counsel for the petitioner states that he is also one among the victims and he has lost the money to A3. The matter is to be probed and anticipatory bail cannot be granted to the petitioner herein. 2/4

5. In view of the prima facie material against him, hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
