ORDER
Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.
2. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to issue patta, pursuant to his representation dated 08.05.2017.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the fact petitioner's representation dated 08.05.2017 for the issuance of patta, the 3rd respondent has not passed any order so far.
4. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider and pass orders on the petitioner's representation dated 08.05.2017, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.05.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after giving notice to all the interested parties. With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
