This application has been filed to condone the delay of 7 days in filing the Written Statement on behalf of the applicant/fourth defendant.

2. In the affidavit filed in support of the Judge's Summons, it had been stated that owing to the fact that the Branch Manager was on medical leave and was not available to sign the Written Statement, there has been a delay of seven days.

3. The learned counsel for the applicant also affirms that fact.
