Ramalingam, (in both) Additional Government Pleader(Ponicherry) C O M M O N O R D E R These writ petitions have been filed (i) for a direction to the respondent to consider the application made by the petitioner for renewal of permit in respect of the petitioner's stage carriage which is plying in the route Cuddalore to Tindivanam (ii) and seeking for replacement of the vehicle.

The case of the petitioner is that he was granted permit to ply on the route from Cuddalore to Tindivanam. The petitioner has made a representation to the respondent seeking for renewal of the permit and also for re-placement of the vehicle. Since the same was not considered, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for 1/2 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

appropriate direction.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the respondent.

Taking into consideration of the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited relief that has been sought for in these writ petitions, there shall be a direction to the respondent to consider the applications made by the petitioner on 28.06.2017 and 24.01.2018 and deal with the same strictly in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the respondent along with a copy of the applications dated 24.01.2018 and 28.06.2017 and a copy of this order.

These writ petitions are disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
