(Order of the court was made by HULUVADI G.RAMESH, J.) Heard the learned counsel appearing for the parties.

2. In the above writ appeal, this court had directed the official respondents to consider the claim of the appellant and give him promotion to the post of Deputy Transport Commissioner in anyone of the existing vacancies and so far as fixation of seniority is concerned, the appellant was directed to submit a detailed representation to the authority concerned and on such representation, the authority concerned was directed to take a decision on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months.

3. When the review application was taken up for hearing, it is represented that pursuant to the direction issued by this court, Government Order in G.O.(D) No.200 Home (Transport-II) Department dated 26.2.2018 has been passed promoting the appellant herein, however, with regard to inter se seniority is concerned, the matter is yet to be considered by the Government on priority. Therefore, keeping this issue open, this review petition is disposed of.
