PRAYER: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to receive the petitioner's complaint and initiate suitable action to trace out the original Sale Deed dated 16.07.2015 registered as Document No.3253 of 2015 in S.R.O. Purasawakkam and hand over it to the petitioner and if it is not traceable to direct the respondent to issue to the petitioner a "Non Traceable Certificate" within a time-frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed to issue a writ of mandamus to direct the respondent to receive the petitioner's complaint and initiate suitable action to trace out the original Sale Deed dated 16.07.2015 registered as Document No.3253 of 2015 in S.R.O. Purasawakkam and hand over it to the petitioner and if it is not traceable to direct the respondent to issue to the petitioner a "Non Traceable Certificate" within a time-frame fixed by this Court.

2. Heard Mr. D.Daniel learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. A.Damodaran, learned Counsel for Govt. of Tamilnadu (Crl.side).

3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent shall consider the petitioner's complaint dated 17.10.2020 and in the event of the original documents not being able to be traced, a "Non Traceable Certificate" shall be issued to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

4. This writ petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
