The present miscellaneous petition has been filed seeking to condone the delay of 31 days in filing the criminal appeal against the judgment passed in S.T.C.No.175 of 2016 by the learned Judicial Magistrate [Fast Track Court Magistrate level] Krishnagiri.

2. Though notice was served and name of the respondent was printed in the cause list, he has not entered appearance either in person or through counsel.

3. Having satisfied with the reasons stated in the accompanying affidavit filed in support of this petition, this petition stands allowed.

4. Registry is directed to number the Criminal Appeal, if the papers are otherwise in order and list the same for admission.
