[Order of the Court was made by M.VENUGOPAL, J.] Heard the Learned Counsel for the Petitioner and the Learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the Respondents 1 to 3. 2.Today, on behalf of the Respondents 1 to 3, the Petitioner's daughter viz., S.Nishanthi, aged about 18 years, is produced by the 3rd Respondent/Inspector of Police, Kadambathur Police Station, Thiruvallur District. As seen from the xerox copy of the School Transfer Certificate issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu, Department of School Education, her date of birth is mentioned as 10.04.2000. Since the Petitioner's daughter S.Nishanthi is a major/ adult, she is entitled to adopt her own future course of action. 3.Accordingly, the present Habeas Corpus Petition is closed, as nothing survives for further adjudication.
