This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent to register a case on the petitioner's complaint dated 01.07.2015, to investigate and file a final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. It is represented by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the complaint has been sent by post and there is no proof that police have received the same.

4. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to go in person and lodge a fresh complaint before the respondent police and on such complaint being given, the respondent police shall enquire the same and take action in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].
