PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus or any other writ, order or direction in the nature of writ calling for the records relating to the proceedings of the 3rd respondent to disconnect and remove the electricity service connections in SC Nos.053-003-89 & 053-003-689 given and installed in existence in the petitioner's land in SF No.31/3, Sulur Village, Coimbatore in the name of 4th respondent.

O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed for quashment of the impugned proceedings dated 31.05.2018 which was passed by the 3rd respondent and and for a direction to the 3rd respondent to disconnect the electricity service connections in the petitioner's land, which stands in the name of the 4th respondent.

2. When the Matter was listed for hearing on 06.03.2023, there was no representation on behalf of the petitioner and hence the matter was

posted on 08.03.2023. When the matter was taken for hearing on 08.03.2023, once again there was no representation for the petitioner and in order to give one more opportunity to the petitioner, the matter was again directed to be listed on 10.03.2023 under the caption ''For Dismissal''. Today, the case is listed for hearing under the caption "for Dismissal" but today also none represented on behalf of the petitioner.

3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is dismissed for non prosecution. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed. 10.03.2023 NHS
