Based on the complaint filed under Section 156(3) of Cr.P.C., the respondent police has registered a case in Crime No.190 of 2024 on 09.03.2024. The petitioner, who is shown as accused in the complaint, is before this Court, stating that the complaint does not make out any ingredient to attract offence under Sections 406 and 420 of IPC. The case is merely a civil dispute involving money transaction. It is a matter of fact which has to be investigated since the Trial Court has prima facie alleged that the investigation report should be filed within a period of 60 days.

2. This Court is not inclined to interfere with the course of investigation. The respondent police shall complete it within the time frame prescribed and file a report regarding the outcome of the investigation.

3. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected criminal miscellaneous petition is closed.
