Prayer: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 483 of BNSS Act, 2023, praying to enlarge the petitioner on bail in respect of the S.C.No. 186 of 2024 in Crime No. 334 of 2024 on the file of The Inspector of Police, Nellikuppam Police Station, Cuddalore District, pending investigation.

ORDER

Pursuant to the letter dated 19.12.2025 addressed by the learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Cuddalore to the Registry, the matter has been listed under the caption for "Extension of Time".

2.On 27.03.2025, this Court dismissed the bail application of the petitioner in Crl.O.P.No.8546 of 2025 vide order dated 27.03.2025 directing the learned Sessions Judge, Mahila Court, Cuddalore, to complete the trial in S.C.No.186 of 2024 as expeditiously as possible. However, if the trial is not completed within the period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, the petitioner is at liberty to renew the bail application before the trial Court. 3.Heard both sides and perused the records.

4.Considering the request made by the learned Sessions Judge, Cuddalore, this Court is inclined to extend for a further period of three months to complete the trial in S.C.No.186 of 2024 as expeditiously as possible and pass appropriate orders from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
