2. The respondents do not seriously oppose these applications.

3. Upon examining the affidavit in support thereof and being satisfied that sufficient cause is established, these applications are allowed and the delay of 576 days is condoned. Consequently, the Registry is directed to receive the written statements of the third and fifth defendants.
