This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to direct the respondent Police to complete the investigation in Cr.No.04 of 2014 and file a final report.
2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents.
3. Earlier in Crl.OP.No.5160 of 2015, this Court passed a very detailed order on 24.04.2015, transferring the investigation in Crime No.4 of 2014 from the file of Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Panruti, Cuddalore District, to the file of Inspector of Police, W1, All Women Police Station, Thousand Lights, Chennai. 4.Today, Mrs.Muthulakshmi, Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Thousand Lights, Chennai, is present. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor on instructions submits that, the case is transferred from the file of Inspector of Police, Panruti to the file of Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Thousand Lights, Chennai.
5. In view of the above, Inspector of Police, All Women Police Station, Thousand Lights, Chennai is directed to expeditiously conduct the investigation in Crime No.4 of 2014, under the supervision of Assistant Commissioner of Police, F3, Nungambakkam Police Station.
6. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
