The respondent in G.W.O.P. is the petitioner before this Court seeking to transfer G.W.O.P.No.6 of 2025, District and Sessions Court, Kancheepuram to the file of the learned III Additional District Judge, Poonamallee. 1/5

2.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the records. 3.The petitioner seeks the transfer on the ground that she is residing at Kundrathur, and travelling to Kancheepuram would be very difficult for her. Admittedly the minor whose guardianship is now sought for by the respondent father is ordinarily residing at Kundrathur which falls within the jurisdiction of the District Court, Kancheepuram. The petition has been rightly filed before the competent Court. That apart, the matter is now pending before the District Court, where the petitioner does not require to appear for every hearing. Therefore, the request for transfer cannot be acceded to and accordingly, the Transfer Miscellaneous Petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
