2. The learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondent would submit that as against the order dated 19.02.2021 passed by this Court in W.P. No.880 of 2021, which is the subject matter of this Contempt petition, a Writ Appeal viz., W.A. No.1132 of 2021 has been filed by the Chennai Corporation, in which an interim stay of order dated 19.02.2021 passed by this Court in W.P. No.880 of 2021 has been granted by the Division Bench of this Court.

3. In view of the fact that a Writ Appeal has already been filed and an interim stay of the aforesaid order dated 19.02.2021 has already been granted by the Division Bench of this Court, this Contempt Petition will have to be necessarily closed. The learned counsel for the petitioner has also not raised any serious objection for closing this contempt petition. Accordingly, the contempt petition is closed. No costs.
