Order This writ petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to pass final orders on the petitioner's representations dated 19.12.2024 and 02.02.2026 seeking for transfer of patta in the name of the petitioner, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner seeks for transfer of patta in her name for the property, morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition. Earlier, patta No.2405 for the subject property stood in the name of the petitioner's son. According to the petitioner, her son died as a bachelor leaving behind the petitioner as his only legal heir. Hence, the petitioner seeks for transfer of patta No.2405 in her name. Therefore, the petitioner has given representations dated 19.12.2024 and 02.02.2026 for the aforesaid purpose. Since the same have not been considered, this writ petition has been filed. 3.Mr.C.Jayaprakash, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

4.No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representations, as stated supra, are considered, on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the objections of the neighbouring land owners, if any

and any other third party whom the respondents deem it fit to enquire, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

5.This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representations.

6.For the foregoing reasons, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to pass final orders, on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representations dated 19.12.2024 and 02.02.2026 seeking for transfer of patta in her name for the property, morefully described in the affidavit filed in support of this writ petition, after hearing the objections of the neighbouring land owners if any and also any other third party whom the respondents deem it fit to enquire, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
