ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by M.M.SUNDRESH, J.) The petitioner/party-in-person has filed the above writ petition seeking direction to the respondent to permit the persons, who want to go to their native places with necessary condition regarding quarantine or to provide food and shelter to the persons, who are in need of the same.

2. In the counter affidavit filed, the following averments has been made.

"11.It is further submitted that main characteristic of Covid-19 virus that it is very contagious and spreads quickly and in such https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

a situation, if the movement of people is set for free, then there is an every chance of increase in the number of positive cases which would not only nullify the main objective the spread of the disease but would also lead to an uncontrollable situation. It is also submitted that the movement of public restricted by the Government is in line with the guidelines issued by Government of India, National Directives for Covid-19 management, opinion of the Medical/Public Health Experts and also in the larger interest of the people of the State of Tamil Nadu.

12. It is also submitted that though lock down has been promulgated till3 1.07.2020 with certain restrictions, many activities have been permitted throughout the State considering the livelihood of the people of State of Tamil Nadu and as such the situation is now better for carrying out many activities now when compared to complete lock down during the month of March and April, 2020."

3. In view of the same, no further orders are required in this writ petition. If the petitioner has got any further grievance pursuant to the decision to be taken on 29.08.2020, he can very well approach this court for appropriate relief. This writ petition stands closed accordingly. No costs.
