JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by the Hon'ble Chief Justice) The appeal impugns an interim order dated 31.03.2023 by which the Court was pleased not to grant interim protection to appellants.

2. When we were about to give reasons for our decision to dismiss the appeal, counsel for appellants stated that no reasons be given lest it has a bearing on the final hearing of the writ petition. Therefore, we are not giving reasons as to why we are not inclined to interfere with the impugned order.

3. The writ appeal is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the interim applications also stand dismissed. We clarify that we have not made any observations on the merits of the matter. All rights and contentions of the parties are kept open. (K.R.SHRIRAM, CJ.)
