Respondents PRAYER : The Writ petitions are filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of mandamus directing the respondents to provide alternative shop/ site for the petitioner to run the Bakery Shop by considering that the petitioner is running shop for more than 15 years which is the sole source of income based on the representation submitted by the petitioner dated 20.4.2015 forthwith prior to Eviction of Shop No.4 & 2 respectively allotted to the petitioner.

Mr.B.Anand, learned counsel takes notice for the 2nd respondent.

2. These two writ petitions are filed by E.Jayadeep, S/o Kumar and K.C.Subramanian, S/o K.Chellam Pillai, seeking a direction to the respondents to provide alternative shop/ site for them to run the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Bakery Shop, by considering the fact that they are running the shops for more than 15 years, which is the sole source of income, based on their representations dated 20.4.2015 forthwith prior to Eviction of Shop No.4 & 2 respectively allotted to them.

3. Though a larger relief is prayed for by the petitioners in these writ petitions, when the matters are taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that if a direction is given to the 1st respondent to dispose of the representations submitted by the petitioners dated 20.04.2015 within a reasonable time, that would serve the purpose.

4. Considering the limited prayer now sought for by the learned counsel for the petitioners, without going into the merits of the writ petitions, the 1st respondent is hereby directed to consider and pass appropriate orders on the representations of the petitioners dated 20.04.2015, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
