Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 25.10.2006 and to take appropriate steps and to demolish in respect of the unauthorised construction put up by the 3rd respondent in Plot No.21, Old No.29[b], New No.27/ of Tiruveethi Amman Koil Street, Chennai 600113 as per the CMDA Rules and Corporation Rules.

[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.] The learned counsel for the petitioner represented on instructions that the matter in issue has been compromised through a Civil Court proceedings and thereafter, the petitioner died on 10.09.2011 and to evidence the said fact, the Death Register Extract issued by the Department of Public Health, Greater Corporation of Chennai, bearing Registration https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

No.COC/2011/09/141/000311/0 dated 24.09.2011, has also been produced before the Court, which is taken on file and recorded. In the light of the said development, nothing survives for adjudication in this writ petition. Therefore, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
