W.P.No.10602 of 2019 S.MANIKUMAR, J., AND SUBRAMONIUM PRASAD, J., [Order of the Court was made by S.MANIKUMAR, J.] After considering the status report and submissions of the learned counsel of both parties, at para no.11, in W.P.No.10602 of 2019 dated 07.06.2019, we passed the following order; "11. Placing on record the above, writ petition is disposed of, directing the Superintendent of Police, Villupuram District, fourth respondent, to sanction the first phase of the compensation to the remaining 24 victims. No sooner charge sheet is filed, 50% of the compensation, i.e., the second phase of the relief, be sanctioned immediately. Respondents are also directed to consider the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner, as regards Rules 6(2) of the Scheduled Castes and the Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act, 1989, and the remaining persons alleged to have suffered damages and redress, if it is in accordance with law." We directed the Registry, to post the matter, 'for reporting compliance'.

2. Mr.Akhil Akhar Ali, learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of respondents, submitted that 25% of the compensation, as first phase has been disbursed to 30 affected victims. Charge Sheet has been filed on 22.06.2019. Proposals have been submitted for sanctioning 50% of the compensation i.e., the second phase of the relief. Appropriate orders would be passed by Friday i.e. 28.06.2019.

3. Placing on record the above, we are of the view that, no further orders are required. The Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. [S.M.K.,J.] [S.P., J.] 24.06.2019 sri
