Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to give permission to the petitioner to conduct a cultural program scheduled on 24.06.2015 in "Mariamman, Shri Kaliamman and Tirupati Shri Gengaiamman Temple" celebrating at Aanaganallur Motdhor Village, Aanganallur, Gudiyatham Taluk, Vellore District by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18.06.2015. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner claims to be the organizer of temple festival of "Mariamman, Shri Kaliamman and Tirupati Shri Gengaiamman Temple" situated at Aanaganallur Motdhor Village, Aanganallur, Gudiyatham Taluk, Vellore District and he submitted an application dated 18.06.2015 to the respondent praying for permission to conduct cultural programme which includes song and dance programme to be held on 24.06.2015 and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that in the event of permission being granted, there will not be any law and order problem and no vulgarity or obscenity will be there in that place and prays for appropriate orders.

4.Heard the submissions of Ms.Farheen, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Digvijaya Pandian, learned Additional Government Pleader who accepts notice on behalf of the respondent. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

5.This Court without going into the merits of the representation made by the petitioner directs the respondent to consider and dispose of the application/ representation dated 18.06.2015 in accordance with law and inform the decision taken, to the petitioner by 25.06.2015. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs.
