Respondents in both WPs Common Prayer: Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose the appeal dated 30.12.2022 filed by the petitioners against the impugned Order dated 28.11.2022 passed in the proceedings No.Ka.No.528/2022/A4, by the Sub Collector [RDO], Ponneri within a time frame after affording opportunity to the petitioner in accordance with law. 1/4

2. These writ petitions are filed to direct the first respondent to dispose the appeal dated 30.12.2022 filed by the petitioners against the impugned Order dated 28.11.2022 passed in the proceedings No.Ka.No.528/2022/A4, by the Sub Collector [RDO], Ponneri within a time frame after affording opportunity to the petitioners in accordance with law.

3. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent and perused the materials available on record.

4. The grievance of the writ petitioners is that the they have presented appeals on 30.12.2022 before the first respondent against the impugned 2/4

proceedings dated 28.11.2022 wherein and the appeal is pending without any progress. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

5. Considering the limited relief sought for in these Writ Petitions, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal petitions filed by the petitioners dated 28.11.2022 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

6. With the above directions, these Writ Petitions are disposed of. No costs.
