ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner herein, who apprehending arrest for the alleged offence under Section 7(1) & 7(3) of Lotteries Regulation Act, 1998 and Section 420 of I.P.C., in Crime No.714 of 2021, on the file of respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The petitioner herein apprehending arrest by the respondent police in connection with seizure of fake Kerala Lottery Tickets from A1. From the confession statement, Investigating Officer has come to know that the fake Lottery tickets been entrusted to A1 by this petitioner.

3. On 22.09.2021, the respondent police recovered fake Kerala Lottery Tickets through one Shanmugam. Based on his confession, this petitioner is arrayed as A1, since he is the person who has employed in the said Shanmugam for daily wages of Rs.600/- for selling Kerala Lottery Tickets. The petitioner herein is absconding and the respondent police therefore not able to investigate and trace the source of band Kerala Lottery Tickets. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Considering the above facts, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
