O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 3rd respondent to give police protection protecting the life of the petitioner and his family members.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondents are continuously interfering the possession and enjoyment of the petitioner and they causing threat to the petitioner and therefore, the petitioner gave a complaint to the respondent police seeking for police protection. Since the same was not considered, this petition has been filed seeking for appropriate direction.

3. It is seen from the records that there is dispute between the landlord and the tenant. The petitioner has already filed a suit in O.S.No.147 of 2019 before the learned Principal https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

District Munsif, Alandur. In the said suit, the petitioner sought interim injunction restraining the defendants from interfering the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the suit property. The Court below did not grant any order of injunction in favour of the petitioner.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry on petitioner's complaint dated 23.03.2019 with the counter part after giving opportunities and pass orders on merits in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. The criminal original petition is disposed of with the above direction.
