No.AXON/WO019/2010-11 dated 21/08/2010 for another period of 6 months from 21/6/2020.

This application has been filed to extend the mandate of arbitration for a period of six months.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the applicantthrough video conferencing.

3. It is the contention of the learned counsel for the applicant that though the mandate of arbitration has been extended till 21.06.2020, the award could not be passed by the arbitrator. He further submitted that the learned counsel for the respondent has no objection for extension of another period of 6 months and he has also sent a communication dated 16.06.2020. Hence, prayed for extension of time.

4. Having regard to the nature of the relief sought for and taking note of the pandemic situation and the other side has sent a communication stating their no objection, which has been filed along with the documents, this application is Ordered as prayed for.
