This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction to the respondents to give protection for peaceful possession and enjoyment of the petitioner property.

2.It is seen that there a civil suit is pending between the petitioner and the counter party. It is also seen that the petitioner has filed a petition under section 151 of Cr.P.C seeking police protection before the IX metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, and the same was returned stating that the police protection can be directed only by this Court.

3.Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondent. 4.Considering the above facts and circumstance of the case, the IX metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai, is directed to consider the petition if any filed by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
