The Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent for willful disobedience of the order of this Court in Crl.O.P.No.16768 of 2023 dated 27.07.2023.

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted the affidavit of the respondent. Relevant portions in the affidavit are extracted hereunder:

"9.It is submitted that after completion of detailed investigation, on 29.12.2023, I has altered the section of this case into U/s.294(b), 352, 506(i) IPC and filed a charge sheet against A1 & A2 before the Judicial Magistrate No.III, Vellore and the same was taken on file vide C.C.No.80/2024 dated 18.06.2024. The next date of hearing on 04.07.2024 for issue of service.

10.It is submitted that on 02.01.2024, I have filed the charge sheet for the counter case in Cr.No.28/2023 before the Judicial Magistrate No.III, Vellore and the same was taken on file vide C.C.NO.81/2024 dated 18.06.2024. The next date of hearing on 04.07.2024 for issue of service."

3.It is clear from the above that the final report has been filed in both the case and counter case and the same has been taken on file in C.C.Nos.80 and 81 of 2024 by the learned Judicial Magistrate No.III, Vellore.

4.Recording the above submissions, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
