The present writ petition is for a direction to call for records on the file of the Commissioner, Villupuram Municipality in Assessment No.4032 - 4036 dated 21.02.2008 and the consequential demand notices in No.50 & 51/2009 dated 29.01.2009 and quash the same. He sought for further direction to transfer the house tax assessment in respect of house bearing door Nos. 378,378/A, 378/B, 378/C and 378/D, Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Road, Villupuram Sub-division to the petitioner's name.

2. Mr.Jayaprakash Narayanan, learned counsel appearing for the Villupuram Municipality states that, if a proper application is made by the petitioner, the house tax assessment https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

would be transferred in the name of the petitioner and the Municipality records would be corrected accordingly.

3. He further submits that the arrears of taxes have been already paid except for the current year. In view of the statement of the learned counsel for the respondent, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
